Standards Development

The Remanufacturing Industries Council (RIC) is an ANSI Accredited Standards Developer.

This means that RIC’s procedures have been approved by ANSI to meet rigerous standards related to balance, openness, and consensus.

In addition, RIC must show ANSI that a consensus has been met before a standard can be published.

Finally, ANSI audits RIC’s records every five years to ensure that the approved procedures are being followed.

Join RIC’s Standards Mailing List to stay up to date on standards developments.
