Open for Public Comment: Proposed Updates to the American National Standard for Remanufacturing
RIC001.1-2016 is being revised by the Remanufacturing Consensus Body led by the Remanufacturing Industries Council.
The revision process began in 2020 with RIC’s Trade & Policy Committee proposing edits to the published standard as part of the Council’s commitment to revise or reaffirm the standard every five years. In the fall of 2020, a new consensus body was formed to review the proposed edits. The consensus body has met regularly since March 2021 to review the proposed revisions from the RIC Trade & Policy Committee as well as additional proposed revisions from the Consensus Body participants. The result of these discussions is the proposed revision linked below as RIC001.2-2022.
Please review the draft revisions and submit the form below if you have any feedback you would like to share.
The deadline for public comments is September 6, 2021.
